Obituary for Glenna Nadine Robirds Wilburn

Mrs. Glenna Nadine Robirds Wilburn, age 68, of Grayson, Kentucky, entered into rest Wednesday morning, September 4, 2019, at Boyd County Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Ashland, Kentucky.

She was born November 8, 1950, in Greenup County, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Earnest and Larna Back Robirds.

Glenna was a member of South Shore Nazarene Church and worked for Dr. Shufflebarger for 17 years. She enjoyed going to church, going out to eat and spending time with her daughter.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Bonnie Josephine Chaffin and Freda Pistole.

Glenna is survived by her husband of 47 years, Joe Wilburn; one daughter, Kimberly Denise Workman and Randy of Kenova, West Virginia; one granddaughter, Grace Workman; two brothers, Bill Robirds of Erlanger, Kentucky, and David Robirds of South Shore, Kentucky; and three sisters, Mary Alice Meadows of Charleston, Illinois, Eunice Irene Gifford of Columbus, Ohio, and Anna Faye Pistole of West Portsmouth, Ohio. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, September 9, 2019, at Grayson Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Grayson, Kentucky, with her Brother, David Robirds and Brother Denver Prater officiating. Burial will follow in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Northeast in Greenup, Kentucky.

Friends may visit from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday, September 8, 2019, and after 9 a.m. on Monday at Grayson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 49 McCoy Road, Grayson, Kentucky 41143.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
